Terms of sale

These terms cover cakes by post from The Adventurous Cake Book, Alex, S81 9PT. Phone 07517 473698. Questions via the contact page.

The order

Each box is £28, UK postage included. We only post to UK addresses. This drop is 50 boxes in total. Once they are gone, the order book closes.

Boxes are baked on 4 October 2026 and posted on 5 October 2026, aimed at arriving around 6 or 7 October. That is a guide, not a guaranteed delivery day. The courier is outside our control once the box has been handed over.

Fresh food cannot be cancelled

These are freshly baked brownies. Because they go off quickly, you do not have the usual 14-day right to cancel an online order. Paying for a box is a firm order.

If something is wrong

If a box arrives damaged, is the wrong order, or is not as described, get in touch as soon as you can, with a photo if you have one. We will replace that box or refund it.

Allergens

Everything is plant-based. Boxes may contain nuts and other allergens. Gluten-free boxes are made without gluten, but they are baked in a kitchen that also handles gluten. If you or the person receiving the box has an allergy or anything else we need to know, put it in the gift note before you pay.
