Privacy notice

The Adventurous Cake Book (Alex, S81 9PT) is responsible for the details you give us when you order or enquire. Phone 07517 473698. Use the contact page for privacy requests.

What we keep

When you order, we keep your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, what you bought, and anything you write in the gift note. A gift note might mention an allergy. We only use that to pack the box safely.

The contact form keeps the details you type there so we can reply.

Why

We use order details to take payment, bake, pack, and post your box, and to email you about that order. We use enquiry details to answer you. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for a mailing list unless you asked to be reminded about this drop.

Who else sees them

Stripe takes the card payment. Our email service sends the order confirmation. The service that stores orders holds the order record so we can pack and post it. They only get what they need to do that job.

How long

We keep order records for as long as we need them to complete the order and for our tax and business records, then we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies

We only use the cookies needed to take a card payment at checkout. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
