Growing up in a family of cake lovers it's hard to escape that most classic of British teatime treats in the form of a tea loaf! (It's fruit so it's good for you right?)

 

Our individual tea loaves are an ode to the Welsh bara brith while having a definite influence from the East. 

 

Rich traditional fruit is made extra special by soaking overnight in aromatic Sri Lankan and Indian chai tea blends. Those 30-hour train journeys across India would have been a LOT more agreeable had my milky steaming hot chai been accompanied by one of these!
